FUNCTION
The Office of
Consular Affairs (OCA) is responsible for the efficient and
effective delivery of front-line services relating to passport,
visas, legalization of documents, and in coordination with the
Consular Assistance Division, assistance to and protection
of Filipino nationals abroad, particularly Overseas Filipino
Workers (OFWs).
OCA is headed by an
Assistant Secretary assisted by an Executive Director and composed
of the following divisions headed by Directors: (1)
Passport; (2) Visas; (3) Authentication; and (4)
Consular Records.
OCA also supervises
the ten (10) Regional Consular Offices (RCOs) through its RCO
Coordinating Center.
