FUNCTION

The Office of Fiscal Management (OFM) is primarily responsible for financial administration in the Department and thus monitors the fiscal transactions of the various offices in the Home Office, Regional Consular Offices and Foreign Service Posts.

The task of OFM includes:

• formulation, adoption and review of the rules and regulations on fiscal matters; 

• preparation, submission and the undertaking of liaison work connected with the annual and special budgets of thee Department; 

•  execution and implementation of the General Appropriations Act, in so far as the Department is concerned; and 

• monitoring and implementation of the Department’s fiscal obligation with international bodies and organizations.

The five (5) divisions under the Office of Fiscal Management are: 

• Financial Planning; 

• Budget; 

• Accounting; 

• Financial Evaluation and Control; and 

• Cash.
