Philippine Fashion
Filipinos are 'fashionistas' by nature. They are innately artistic and creative and it is very evident in their fashion. Filipino fashion has evolved over the years from the pre-colonial times until the present. It has Western influences but Filipinos are very innovative in injecting indigenous materials in their designs. The Philippines is home to internationally renowned fashion icons like Monique Lhuillier, Michael Cinco, and Josie Natori. Philippine fashion design is a growing industry in the country with the increasing number of young designers and the number of fashion events every year.
