A trip to the Philippines is not complete without a visit to at least one of its many shopping areas. These are easy to find and are scattered all over the country. The retail industry of the country is a thriving, booming sector of the Philippine economy, accounting for approximately 15% of the country's total Gross National Product (GNP) and one-third of the entire services sector.
