Conceptualized by Consul Elena Maningat and Cultural Officer Marievic Dimaculangan and realized with the assistance of the Philippine Center Management, the "Tribute" features a selection from the art collection of the Philippine Center, each with the Philippine flag as subject.

With the National flag as a backdrop, the following pieces were selected for exhibit:

Mr. Anthony Castro, Fil-Am graphics designer, provided expert assistance in creating and installing the sticker.

The "Tribute to the Philippine Flag" installation has received positive feedback from passers-by and especially the members of the community who come to the Consulate to avail of services.

The general sentiment is that it is a successful reminder of the significance and importance of Independence Day, as well as an exhibition of the varied ways artists interpret the idea of patriotism by honoring the flag.
