17 July 2012- The Filipino Community in New Delhi thronged to the Philippine Embassy for the traditional flag-raising ceremony followed by a hearty brunch on June 12.
A celebratory mass was also held inside the Ambassador's Residence. Ms. Agnes M. Cervantes, Chargé d'Affaires (CDA), a.i. read the Independence Day Message of President Benigno S. Aquino III while First Secretary and Consul Robert Ferrer read the Independence Day Message of Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario.
The messages of Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory L. Domingo and Gen. Jessie Dellosa, Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) were read by Trade and Commercial Attaché Vichaelangelo Roaring and Col. Rolando S. Acop, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché, respectively. END
