28 February 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai held a simple ceremony to commemorate the 27th year of EDSA Revolution on February 25.
A flag-raising ceremony was held to start the commemoration attended by the officers and staff of the Consulate and its attached agencies.
In the afternoon, Consul General Frank R. Cimafranca led the community in the viewing of Puso at Diwa ni Ninoy, a documentary on the life of the late Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. Artists from National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), select faculty and staff of The Philippine School (TPS), leaders of accredited Filipino organizations, officers of Filipino Community in Dubai and Northern Emirates (FilCom DNE), and friends from the media attended the commemoration.
