04 March 2013 - In commemoration of the 27th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, Consul General Adelio Angelito S. Cruz led a flag-raising ceremony at the premises of the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen on the morning of February 25.
Later in the evening, officers and staff of the Consulate General together with officers of the Filipino Association in Xiamen (FAX) watched the video documentary entitled,
“Ninoy: The Heart and the Soul.”
A simple dinner provided by the Consulate followed the screening. Consul General Cruz took the opportunity to share some thoughts on the film with the Filipino community members in attendance, as well as discuss joint activities with FAX for the second quarter of the year.
The Consulate offered the give out through FAX copies of the video to other Filipinos who would be interested to watch the documentary but were unable to come to the Consulate for the screening. END
