7 March 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain commemorated the 27th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution on February 25 at the Embassy lobby. The event was attended by personnel from the Embassy, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Wokers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Filipino community members.
Highlights of the program included the flag-raising ceremony, ecumenical prayer, singing of the song “Bayan Ko,” and the showing of the documentaries “Ninoy: The Heart and The Soul” and “Puso at Diwa ni Ninoy.”
Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Sahid S. Glang gave a message and shared the speech of President Benigno S. Aquino III, “Sa Tatak EDSA: Salo-Salubungang Pambata.” The documentaries were continuously played the whole day at the Embassy lobby. END
