13 March 2013 — Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. attended the 2nd Annual Ambassador’s Business Network Forum held on March 08, which was hosted by the the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, the local government of the East Rand region of Gauteng province in South Africa.
The Forum is a vehicle used by the Ekurhuleni Municipality to stimulate foreign investments in their jurisdiction by arranging networking between Ambassadors assigned in South Africa and local businesses operating in Ekurhuleni.
This year, the following missions were represented in the Forum: Argentine Republic, Azerbaijan, Botswana, Congo (Republic of), Fiji, Georgia, Germany, Iraq, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mexico, Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Nigeria (represented by H.E. Olesogun Olutoyin Aganga, Minister for Trade and Investment of Nigeria), Oman, Palestine, Philippines, Rwanda, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Suriname, and Tunisia. END
