15 March 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted a consular outreach in Nicosia, Cypus from March 01 to 03.
The outreach in Cyprus is the first in a series of mobile consular activities to be conducted by the Embassy for the year 2013.
The consular team processed a total of 786 electronic passport (e-Passport) applications. Services were also extended by Pag-IBIG Fund.
The consular outreach was conducted with the full support of Philippine Honorary Consul in Cyprus Shemaine Bushnell-Kyriakides, Welfare Officer Sylvia Valdez, and the Filipino community in Cyprus.
The Philippine Embassy in Athens, Greece has jurisdiction over Cyprus where more than 16,000 Filipinos reside. END
