20 March 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates, together with attached offices Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Social Security System (SSS), held mobile services in Ras Al Khaimah from March 15 to 16.
A total of 169 passport applications were processed, 25 expedited services, seven (7) amendments, and 20 notarial services. POLO processed 144 OWWA membership applications and six (6) for overseas employment certificates (OECs).
Fifty (50) transactions were facilitated by SSS. For its part, Pag-IBIG Fund received 110 transactions.
Philippine Consul General to Dubai Frank Cimafranca and Vice Consul Geronimo Suliguin led the weekend mobile services, which is the second for this year following the consular outreach held in Fujairah last month. END
