E-Passport to Roll Out in 10 DFA Regional Consular Offices

13 March 2010 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said today that after the opening of its new consular office in Paranaque City and the full implementation of the issuance of the ePassport early this week, the DFA wil also start issuing ePassports in 10 of its Regional Consular Offices (RCOs) on March 15 (Monday).

The following DFA RCOs will start making available to the public the e-passport-Cebu City, Davao, Iloilo City, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, San Fernando in Pampanga, San Fernando in La Union, Lucena, and Tuguegarao.

Over 105 Countries to be Represented in NAM Meeting in Manila on Interfaith Dialogue (updated)

SNAMMM_Breakfast_Forum212 March 2010 - Representatives from 105 countries will take part in the Special Non-Aligned Movement Ministerial Meeting (SNAMMM) on Interfaith Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace and Development that the Philippines is hosting from March 16 to18.

 

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary and NAM National Organizing Committee Secretary General Rafael E. Seguis said the SNAMMM, to be held at the Philippine International Convention Center, highlights the Philippines' leading role in interfaith dialogue worldwide.
