13 March 2010 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said today that after the opening of its new consular office in Paranaque City and the full implementation of the issuance of the ePassport early this week, the DFA wil also start issuing ePassports in 10 of its Regional Consular Offices (RCOs) on March 15 (Monday).
The following DFA RCOs will start making available to the public the e-passport-Cebu City, Davao, Iloilo City, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, San Fernando in Pampanga, San Fernando in La Union, Lucena, and Tuguegarao.


12 March 2010 - Representatives from 105 countries will take part in the Special Non-Aligned Movement Ministerial Meeting (SNAMMM) on Interfaith Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace and Development that the Philippines is hosting from March 16 to18.
