14 February 2013 - Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert F. del Rosario received a delegation from the German Federal Ministry of Defense (MoD) headed by Rear Admiral Thorsten Kahler, Director, Security Policy 
Division, Policy Department, MoD last February 13.
Other members of his delegation include Col. Carsten Breuer, Head of Branch, International Security Policy and Bilateral Relations, Security Policy Division; Lt. Col. Hauke Koch, Desk Officer, International Security Policy and Bilateral Relations, Security Policy Division; and Staff Capt. Norbert Leipholz.
The delegation was accompanied by Philippine Ambassador to Germany Maria Cleofe R. Natividad.
The delegation is in Manila on a three-day visit to conduct bilateral discussions with officials of the Department of National Defense, especially in the area of training, disaster management and capacity building.
The Delegation will also meet with the various services of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. END
