23 February 2010- Philippine Embassy in Washington DC reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that they conducted a consular outreach program, in cooperation with the Fil-Am Association of Greater Mobile at the International Ministries Center in Mobile, Alabama.

The outreach is part of the Embassy's vigorous campaign to encourage and enable Filipinos who still hold green passports to apply personally for machine-readable passports.
