19 February 2010 - The Philippine Embassy in Berne reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland Maria Theresa P. Lazaro was invited to speak before 200 guests at the World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) Kyoto-Apero symposium held at the WWF Headquarters in Zurich on 16 February 2010.
The symposium discussed the subject of the recently concluded Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change and also celebrated the 5th year anniversary of the Kyoto Protocol agreement which entered into force on 16 February 2005.
