Remains of Filipina who Died in Haiti Earthquake to Arrive on Friday

17 February 2010 --The remains of a Filipina worker who died in the Haiti earthquake will arrive in the Philippines Friday morning (Manila time), according to the Philippine Embassy in Cuba.

 

Philippine Vice-Consul to Cuba Jason Anasarias said that Mary Grace Fabian's remains was shipped to Manila from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic yesterday (Manila time) after clearing all Dominican documentary requirements.

UK Government Announces Changes to Student Visa Regulations

16 February 2010 - The Philippine Embassy in London reported that United Kingdom Home Affairs Minister Alan Johnson announced a number of changes to Tier 4 (Student Visa) Regulations under the UK Points-Based System of Migration (PBS) on February 10.
