30 July 2010 - The Philippine Embassy in Madrid attended the 96th Anniversary celebration of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) on July 27, upon the invitation of Resident Minister of INC Madrid, Brother Luciano Amado Garcia.
The Embassy was represented by Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. Celia Anna M. Feria, Vice-Consul Susanna L. Mendiola, and Vice-Consul Ma. Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira.
The anniversary celebration, which featured a bible exposition and a reception, brought together an estimated 500 Filipino and foreign participants.
The celebrations in Madrid were part of INC's simultaneous celebrations held worldwide. END
