The team headed by Mr. William G. Garcia, Officer-in-Charge of RCO La Union, accepted over 450 passport applications and rendered other consular services to residents in the area.  Through arrangements made with the office of Rosales Mayor Julieta R. Yu, the team held office at the municipal hall, where a simple program was later held as municipal officials thanked the DFA mobile passport
team.

“The mobile passport program underscores the DFA’s determination to make itself more accessible to the people in the remote areas of the country,” DFA Secretary Delia Domingo Albert said.  “It also demonstrates the Department’s commitment to further strengthen its frontline services in line with its plan to become a world-class DFA,” she added.
