ALBERT ENCOURAGES PUBLIC TO GIVE INPUTS TO IMPROVE DFA SERVICES
29 July 2004 Foreign Affairs Secretary Delia Domingo Albert today reiterated her desire for the public to contribute their comments and suggestions in her continuing efforts to improve the passport services offered by the Department.
We have already instituted measures and reforms that have vastly improved the quality of the passport services that we provide, but we are determined to do even more in the service of the public, Secretary Albert said.
The improvement in passport services was recently recognized by a satisfied passport applicant in the Letters to the Editor section of the Daily Inquirer (27 July 2004). In her letter, Ms. Priscilla E. Arguelles of Quezon City, said The people of the DFA, from the guards to the clerks, to the cashiers, were very fast, efficient and smiling. The best government agency I have ever been to. Kudos to Foreign Secretary Delia Albert.
On behalf of the men and women of the Department, I would like to thank Ms. Arguelles for her kind and encouraging words. We always strive to provide the best service to the public and recognition of like this is most welcome, Secretary Albert said.
I encourage our public to give us their comments, whether good or bad, in so that we can better gauge our success and in order to identify areas for further improvement, Secretary Albert said.
We can be contacted 24 hours
