SECRETARY ROMULO’S EULOGY FOR ASSISTANT SECRETARY RAMOS

27 April 2005  - Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo delivers his eulogy during the solemn necrological services held at the Loyola Memorial Chapels, Guadalupe, Makati City for the late Assistant Secretary Alicia C. Ramos of the Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs (ASPAC).   Secretary Romulo lauded Assistant Secretary Ramos as a complete diplomat and one who recognized national interest as a transcendent value to be pursued.   In his eulogy, Secretary Romulo also pointed out the excellent work she did for the ongoing State Visit of Chinese President Hu Jintao. Members of the Diplomatic Corps, DFA officials and staff, relatives and close friends of the late Assistant Secretary attended the necrological services organized by the DFA.  (Tony Bosa)
