SECRETARY ROMULO CITES LONG-STANDING RP-INDONESIA FRIENDSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP


18 August 2005 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo congratulates Indonesia on its 60th Anniversary of Independence stressing that “the Philippines and Indonesia have been long-standing friends and partners” especially in “the pursuit of peace, stability and prosperity in our region.”   Secretary Romulo addresses the members of the Diplomatic Corps at the Indonesia Day Reception at the Dusit Hotel Nikko, Makati City.  Indonesian Charge d’Affaires Sanusi (1st from L) welcomes Secretary Romulo and Papal Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps H.E.
