SECRETARY ROMULO CONFERS ON BEHALF OF PRESIDENT ARROYO THE ORDER OF SIKATUNA, RANK OF LAKAN,
ON OUTGOING US CDA JOSEPH MUSSOMELI

2 August 2005 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo confers, on behalf of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the Order of Sikatuna, Rank of Lakan, on outgoing US Chargé d’Affaires Joseph Mussomeli who “played an important role in steering the RP-US alliance through several critical episodes” and for his ““significant contribution to the enhancement of RP and US bilateral relations, most importantly to the promotion and sustainment of peace and development in Mindanao.” (Mark Santos)
