SECRETARY ROMULO AT SINGAPORE NATIONAL DAY

9 August 2005 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo, with Her Excellency Lim Kheng Hua, Ambassador of Singapore to the Philippines and His Excellency Msgr. Antonio Franco, the Papal Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, offers a toast “to the continued prosperity of the people of Singapore and to the enduring ties of friendship between the Philippines and Singapore” following his remarks on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Singapore held at the Mandarin Oriental Manila, Makati City.
