PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR TO AUSTRIA INSTALLS NEW HONORARY CONSUL IN INNSBRUCK

6 December 2005 – Philippine Ambassador to Austria Victor G. Garcia III hands over to the new Philippine Honorary Consul in Innsbruck Dr. Christian Traweger (L) his appointment papers after presiding over the oath-taking and inauguration rites witnessed by leaders of   Filipino organizations, as well as ranking representatives from the Austrian government and business organizations.  Leading government guests was Tyrol Province Landeshauptmann (Governor) Dr. Herwig van Staa (R), one of the strongest advocates of the opening of the new Consulate.
