Application forms are now available at the DFA Ladies Foundation, Inc. At the meeting of the DFALF Board of Trustees, Mrs. Romulo expressed appreciation for the Board's untiring efforts to support the worthy project.

"We are also grateful to the generous sponsors and donors of the DFALF scholarship program, many of whom are Philippine diplomats, respected business leaders, members of the Chambers of Commerce, private companies, non-governmental organizations and foundations. DFALF has been fortunate to have the continuous support of the donors and sponsors since 1997, " she added.

The DFALF Scholarship Program started in 1997 with 11 scholars and since then, a total of 88 scholars have been recipients of the scholarship grants as of 2004.  Twenty-nine scholars have graduated from colleges and universities and seven have either finished vocational courses or secondary education.
