ASEAN MEMBERS LOOKING FORWARD TO VISITING PHILIPPINES DURING RP CHAIRMANSHIP OF ASEAN

26 July 2005, Vientiane, Laos – Malaysia Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar, Myanmar Foreign Minister U  Nyan Win and Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo in a huddle before the Press Conference where the ASEAN Foreign Ministers announced the decision of Myanmar to skip its chairmanship of ASEAN.  Malaysia is the ASEAN Chair for 2005-2006 while the Philippines will chair ASEAN in 2006-2007.
