SECRETARY ROMULO RECALLS EFFORTS TO FORMER CHINESE
AMBASSADORS TO MANILA TO BRING BILATERAL TIES TO GOLDEN AGE

7 July 2005 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo receives the former Ambassadors of the PROC to Manila, led by former Ambassador Wang Yingfang (5th from R).  The former Chinese ambassadors are in Manila as part of the celebrations for the 30th year of Philippines-China relations.  Chinese Ambassador Wu Hongbo (4th from R) accompanies the former Chinese Envoys in the call on Secretary Romulo at the function room of the Intercontinental Hotel, Makati City.  The former Chinese envoys are (R-L)  Ambassador Guan Dengmin, Ambassador Huang Guifang and Ambassador Chen Songlu.
