ROMULO AND SAUDI JUSTICE MINISTRY AGREE TO INTENSIFY EFFORTS TO PROTECT SAFETY, RIGHTS AND WELFARE OF FILIPINOS IN SAUDI

3 July 2005, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo meets with Saudi Justice Minister Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohamad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh and discussed ways to provide better legal protection to Filipinos in the Kingdom.  Secretary Romulo received the assurances of Dr. Abdullah that the Saudi government is grateful for the contributions Filpinos have made to the development and progress of Saudi Arabia and that the Ministry of Justice will intensify its cooperation with Filipino authorities in protecting the safety, rights and welfare of Filipinos in the Kingdom.
