NEW FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICERS

2005 – Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto G. Romulo administers the Oaths
of Office of 19 new Foreign Service Officers (FSOs) appointed by President
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Secretary Romulo welcomed the new FSOs into
the Department of Foreign Affairs, saying that they “bring to the Department
a wealth of experience and expertise that can undoubtedly be harnessed
in the service of our nationals and our national interests.” The
new Foreign Service Officers, Class IV, are: Jason Jovencio A. Anasarias;
Melanie Rita T. Balisi; Lorena Joy P. Banagodos; Grace Anne G. Bulos; Ma.
Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira; Aian A. Caringal; Greg Marie V. Concha; Conrado
B. Demdem, Jr.; Alexander N. Go; Emmanuel Donato K. Guzman; Lorenzo Rhys
G. Jungco IV; Susanna L. Mendiola; Edwin Gil. Q. Mendoza; Rea G. Oreta;
Maria Cynthia P. Pelayo; Reichel P. Quiñones; John G. Reyes; Bertrand
