The Hague, 21 March 2005 – Philippine Ambassador to The Hague Romeo Arguelles (L) witnesses the turnover of the registration documents of the Philippines-Netherlands Business Council from outgoing chairman Maarten van der Schaft (right) to the new chairman Ton Hens (center), during simple ceremonies at the Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands.   Ambassador Arguelles welcomes Mr. Hens who brings with him decades of experience in dealing with Asian countries.  Mr. Hens is an expert on aviation and tourism matters, having been connected with various airline companies, the last of which was Sri Lankan Air where he was the manager in Amsterdam.   The new chairman of the Philippines-Netherlands Business Council is the current country manager  for the Philippines of PUM, the Netherlands Senior Experts Programme, which is a development assistance project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Employers Federation.
