09 March 2005—Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo addresses the Ambassadors and CDAs from the member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference at the Bulwagang Blas F. Ople, DFA prior to the briefing on developments in Sulu.  Secretary Romulo was assisted during the briefing by AFP Chief of Staff  General Efren Abu, Secretary Teresita Quintos-Deles of the Peace Process and National Defense Secretary Avelino Cruz. After the briefing, the OIC Ambassadors and CDAs gave their unequivocal support for the peace initiatives of the Philippine Government.(Tony Bosa, DFA)
