AMBASSADOR ARGUELLES OF THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY, THE NETHERLANDS PROMOTES RP AS INVESTMENT SITE

04 May 2005— Philippine Ambassador to The Hague H.E. Romeo Arguelles presents a Philippine souvenir to Mr. Ehtm Nijpels, the Queen’s Commissioner for Friesland (Provincial Governor) during a courtesy call on 28 April 2005 in the provincial seat of Leeuwarden.    Ambassador Arguelles briefed Mr. Nijpels on the general  conditions on the Philippines as well as Philippines-Dutch relations and invited the Provincial Governor to consider the Philippines as a destination for his next business mission.   The Ambassador also discussed the possibility of sister-city arrangements between Dutch and Philippine municipalities.  Mr. Nijpels said he would relay this proposal to all municipal mayors in his jurisdiction.
