2 May 2005 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo presents a farewell gift to outgoing Ambassador to Philippines Francis Ricciardone at a luncheon he hosted at the Manila Diamond Hotel.     Ambassador Ricciardone earlier made a farewell call on Secretary Romulo at the DFA.    The U.S. Ambassador served for a total of three years in Manila.  February 2005.   Joining Secretary Romulo at the farewell luncheon were Congressman Antonio Cuenco, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Relations; Undersecretary for Policy Sonia C. Brady, Assistant Secretary for American Affairs Ariel Abadilla, Assistant Secretary for Protocol Jose Zaide, U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Joseph Mussomeli and Mr. Scott Ballard, U.S. Embassy Political Counsellor.
