ROMULO, LUGAR REAFFIRM IMPORTANCE OF RP-US RELATIONSHIP

17 May 2005, US Congress, Washington DC - Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo and Senior US Senator Richard Lugar discuss the historical antecedents of the strong relations between the Philippines and the US.   During their meeting, the two officials reiterated the importance both their governments give to RP-US relations.
