SECRETARY ROMULO CONGRATULATES NEW DFA OFFICERS
CONFIRMED BY THE COMMISSION ON APPOINTMENTS

25 May 2005 – Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto G. Romulo joins some of the 61 newly confirmed ambassadors, career ministers and foreign service officers of the Department of Foreign Affairs during a reception held at the Bulwagang Blas F. Ople, DFA after their confirmation by the Commission on Appointments.   Seated with the Secretary are (L-R) Ambassador Luis T. Cruz, CDA of the Philippine Embassy, Malaysia, Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Jose S. Brillantes, the new Philippine Ambassador to Canada; Ambassador to Papua New Guinea Bienvenido V.
