Geneva, 5 October 2005— Ambassador Enrique A. Manalo (3RD from left), Philippine Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, receives the congratulations from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Director General Kamel Idris (2nd  from left) after successfully presiding over the 41st Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the (WIPO).   Ambassador Manalo steered the discussions to an adoption of the Report thus bringing the meeting to a successful conclusion.  Ambassador Manalo is the first Asian to be elected President of the Assembly.
