05 October 2005 –Tourism Attaché Enerio of Philippine Embassy in London sends off the famous London black taxis during the grand launching ceremony on 30 September 2005 in front of the Embassy premises.  Ambassador Edgardo B. Espiritu commended the Department of Tourism (DoT) office in London for their creative promotional initiative.  The London the taxi cabs are liveried or dressed up with glorious Philippine scenery and emblazoned with the now familiar WOW Philippines brand name. The ten taxi cabs were part of the 50-strong fleet of London black cabs now cruising around London with some of the Philippines’ tourist attractions wrapped around their gleaming bodies.
