RP ARMY SHOOTERS IMPRESS COUNTERPARTS AT ASEAN RIFLE MEET IN BRUNEI

15 September 2005 – Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Virginia H. Benavidez (4th L) congratulates Lieutenant General Hermogenes Esperon, Jr., Commanding General, Philippine Army (5th R); Major General Cardozo M. Luna, Commanding General, TRADOC, Philippine Army (4th R) and some of the members of the 59-member Philippine delegation to the 15th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet 2005.  Ambassador Benavidez hosted a victory reception on 11 September 2005 at the Ang Bahay, the official residence of the Ambassador. The Philippine team had an impressive performance garnering 14 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals. END
