PHILEMB BRUNEI HOSTS 2ND BRUNEI CONTINGENT TO IMT AND  RP ARMY DELEGATES TO ASEAN RIFLE MEET

15 September 2005 – Ambassador Virginia H. Benavidez (seated, 2nd R) of the Philippine Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, hosts a reception at the Embassy residence in honor of  the members of the second Brunei contingent to the International Monitoring Team (IMT, standing) as well as the officials of the Philippine Army that attended the recently concluded ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) in Brunei.  The IMT contingent is accompanied by Deputy Minister for Defense Pehin Dato Haji Mohammad Yasmin (seated, 3rd R).  The Philippine AARM delegation is headed by Philippine Army Commanding General Major General Hermogenes C. Esperon, Jr. (seated, 1st R).
