23 September 2005 – Ambassador Belen F. Anota of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore briefs Philippine and Singapore media on the outcome of the third court mention on the murder case against OFW Guen Garlejo Aguilar.  Ambassador Anota said that the Court decided to remand OFW Guen to the Changi Women’s Prison after the prosecution had manifested its motion that the police have completed their investigations and requested that the accused go through psychiatric evaluation.  Joining the Ambassador at the press briefing are Sally Parañgan (2nd R), OFW Jane Parañgan Lapuebla’s aunt-guardian; OFW Guen’s husband Edwin Aguilar (3rd R) and OFW Jane’s husband Crusaldo Lapuebla (3rd R).
