PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN YANGON AT 109TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARTYRDOM OF DR. JOSE RIZAL

9 January 2006 – Charges d’Affairs a.i.  of  the Philippine Embassy in Yangon Pablito A. Mendoza raises the Philippine flag as he leads the Embassy’s officers and staff during the flag-raising and wreath-laying rites to mark the 109th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 30 December 2005 at the Embassy Chancery.   The Embassy personnel also offered a short but meaningful program for Dr. Rizal, which focused on the national hero’s life and works and his relevance to the present day.
