09 January 2006 – Philippine Consul General to Agana, Guam Teresita L. Mendiola (6th R) leads the Embassy officers and staff and the Filipino community during the simple flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies on the occasion of the 109th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal on 29 December 2005 at the Consulate General premises. Vice Consul Kerwin Tate read the short biography of the national hero while Administrative Officer Carlomagno Estole recited the Tagalog version of  Mi Ultimo Adios. The program culminated with singing of patriotic songs by the all-male Consulate Chorale.
