SECRETARY ROMULO WELCOMES SECRETARY-GENERAL
OF WORLD ISLAMIC CALL SOCIETY

 

25 January 2006 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo welcomes at the DFA Dr. Mohammad Ahmed Al-Sherif, Secretary-General of the World Islamic Call Society, who made a courtesy call in the course of his visit to the Philippines on the invitation of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrat Party through House Speaker Jose de Venecia.  Dr. Al-Sherif expressed admiration over the Philippine initiative for an Interfaith Dialogue, and will speak at the Global Interfaith Dialogue organized by Speaker de Venecia to be held on 27 January 2006.
