AN EDUCATIONAL CENTER

Ambassador to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bahnarim A. Guinomla (R)
and Sultan Kudarat Governor Datu Pax Mangodadatu (center) present to Dr.
Ahmed Mohammad Ali, President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), a
proposal for IDB assistance to develop the 20 hectare old provincial capitol
in Sultan Kudarat into an educational center where Muslims and Christians
can study together in an environment of peace and harmony. Ambassador
Guinomla and Governor Mangodadatu, who led this year’s Filipino pilgrims
to the Hajj, met Dr. Ali on 22 January 2006 in Jeddah. Dr. Ali asked the
Sultan Kudarat Governor to submit his detailed proposals within two weeks.
