26 January 2006 – Philippine Ambassador to Ottawa, Canada Jose S. Brillantes presents his Credentials as the Philippines’ Permanent Representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) during a call on ICAO Secretary General Dr. Taieb Cherif on 25 January 2006 at the ICAO Secretariat in Montreal, Quebec. Accompanying Ambassador Brillantes during the call are Minister and Consul General Joseph Gerard B. Angeles (second from left) and two Filipino-Canadian employees of the ICAO, Ms. Riza Trillanes Esmeralda of the Air Navigation Bureau (far right) and Mr. Frank C. Martinez of the Technical Cooperation Bureau (far left). Secretary General Cherif said he looked forward to working with Ambassador Brillantes on matters of mutual interest between the Philippines and ICAO, and expressed his confidence that the Ambassador’s tour in Canada will be successful and fruitful.
