SECRETARY ROMULO WELCOMES ATTY. CONEJOS
AS NEW UNDERSECRETARY FOR MIGRANT WORKERS AFFAIRS

31 January 2006 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto G. Romulo welcomes to the DFA Atty. Esteban B. Conejos, Jr. (6th L, front row) as the new Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs.   Earlier, Secretary Romulo administered the oath of office of Undersecretary Conejos at the DFA after President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed his appointment papers in Malacañan.   The Secretary then introduced Undersecretary Conejos to the officers and staff of the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers (OUMWA) led by Executive Director Pedro Chan (8th L).  Joining the Secretary is Mrs. Minda Cruz (5th L),. Chief Coordinator, Office of the Secretary.   (Tony Bosa)
