PHILIPPINE EMBASSY REPRESENTATIVES MEET SIX FILIPINO SURVIVORS OF “MV ALEXANDROS T” MISHAP

9 May 2006 – Consul General Renato L. Villapando (5th L) of the Philippine Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa and Mr. Willie Eresmas (1st R), Durban Filipino Community leader, meet with the six Filipino survivors of the MV Alexandros T mishap as well as representatives of the Greek shipowners and shipping agents in Durban.  The six Filipino seamen are currently staying at a hotel in Durban while the Embassy processes their travel documents to enable them to return home.
