AMBASSADOR GUINOMLA VISITS CUBUK, SITE OF 3RD 
INTERNATIONAL PICKLE AND CULTURE FESTIVAL  

31 August 2007—Ambassador to Turkey Bahnarim A. Guinomla reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs that he visited the venue of the 3rd International Pickle and Culture Festival in Cubuk, a town some 40 kilometers from downtown Ankarajn, in preparation for the Embassy's participation. The Festival is scheduled on September 6-9.  

Expected to highlight the Philippine participation will be a product presentation by a team from the Mama Sita company as well as an Embassy contingent in the cultural parade.  

According to Ambassaor Guinomla, he and his staff were received by Mayor Adem Tugluca of Cubuk who was delighted at the Embassy's decision to take part in the annual event. The Ambassador expressed the hope that the Embassy's participation will contribute to enhancing further relations between Turkey and the Philippines especially in tourism, trade and culture.

Ambassador Guinomla invited the Mayor and his family to visit the Philippines with the latter  accepting the invitation and hoping to make the trip in the future.END
