RP POLICE PEACEKEEPERS ARRIVE IN DILI

 

 6 December 2007—Peacekeepers from the Philippine National Police (PNP) disembark from a passenger jet chartered by the United Nations shortly upon their arrival in Dili on Thursday, 29 November 2007. The officers belong to the first of three batches that will replace 145 PNP personnel who ended their one-year tour of duty with the UN Integrated Mission in Timor Leste (UNMIT).
